How to Solve N73 "Memory full. Delete some data!" problem

Im sure most of the N73 user out there had encounter this problems before. This is the most annoying bug of N73, it shows "Memory full. Delete some data!" error and blocking you from opening sms, contact, application, games...almost everything.

This bug is cause by Nokia lifeblog which is a stupid application that nobody is using it. The bug was cause by two sources. a file named
lifeblog.db and a process named LifeblogDBSERVER.exe. The problem is about huge file size of "lifeblog db" file in phones internal memory. Suddenly internal memory falls to 144k due to the large lifeblog.db file in c:\data\lifeblog\database\

The following tutorial will teach you solve this problem step by step, eliminate it once and for all.

First of all, you will need 2 software

JBak Taskman [freeware]
Download

X-plore v1.34
Download

1. Download and install both application on your phone
a) Jbaktaskman
b) X-plore
2. Open jbtaskman and go to Tools > Processes and look for "LifeblogDBSERVER.exe" file and Terminate the process.
3. Open X-plore and go to the configuration
Menu>tools>configuration Or by just pressing 0
Please make sure the following option is tick:
Select Show Hidden files
Select Show Romdrives

Select Show Ram drives
Select Show system files/Folders

now u can go to
c:\data\lifeblog\database\ and delete lifeblog.db file to free memory.
4. Now restart phone and repeat step 2
5. Again go to c:\data\lifeblog\database\ and change the attributes of lifeblog.db file to 'hidden' and 'read only' using x-plore.
6. Restart phone and search for LifeblogDBSERVER.exe using jbtaskman. hopefully it wont be there to cause any further troubles. ! !
Please spend 1 sec to click on my ads as token of appreciation. Thanks :)

5. Dear all,

Plesae help me. some of my very important messages got deleted from my memory card while i was trying to create space in phone memory. The same issue is quoted below by another user. Is there some way i can recover the deleted messages in this issue. Badly need them, very urgent. Please assist:con?
Check your lifeblog entries!!! They are the main culprits!!!
They are stored in the phone memory!!!

But be careful while deleting them.... :icon4:

If you delete Lifebolg entries, and your lifeblog entries have messages stored in them. It will also delete your messages even if they are on the memory card!!! Don't know why!!! :con?

I had this problem two weeks ago. So I had to clear out my Lifeblog entries but almost 900 messages got deleted from Messages (Inbox, Personal Folders, Drafts n all!!! Which were saved on my memory card!!!!). :frown:

Didn't know that there is a direct link between the Lifeblog and Messages!!! After that i got about 21.3MB of my memory free but i lost my precious messages!!! And still haven't solved a way to restore the messages to my memory card from the backup that I had created about a month which has all those 900 messages!!!

Can anyone suggest me how to get over this? I mean Lifeblog and messages dependency??? :con?
6. you dont delete your lifeblog data directly from lifeblog application. It will delete your original data too.

You only need to delete the lifeblog.db, follow the tutorial.

May i know what language content in the sms, if it is english than it will be much easier.

Galery:
Memory full. Close some aplications and try again.
What should be the problem ?
Thanks bro.

30. To Ankush:
Try uninstall any software in phone memory before proceed to install new software. Hope that help.

For picture that unable to zoom 50%, if you already tried follow all my instruction. Try to restart the phone.

ReplyDelete
31. Bro, I instal only total recal from your blog.Total recal is on, and I zoom picture, up to 50%, and watch the ram memory wits Y-tasks. Ram memory is wery low, only 1Mb. Then restart my phone and erase total recal, and i saw that ram memory is 22Mb, from 40Mb. Why the ram memory is on the half from the all ram memory, when there is nothing on the phone ?

39. hi... u know brother u did great job by upload dis kind problem`s solution... itx easy n 100% working.. thanks alot dear... all da best

ReplyDelete
40. praveen,

Try close all other application before browsing. Btw, the default browser sucks. Try install new browser, like UC browser. You can found it on my blog.

ReplyDelete
41. About the RAM problem, the RAM of phone work just like RAM of computer. Except the fact that it is not as efficient as computer RAM which has virtual ram to support.

Each time whn you run an application, it will consume the RAM space. Even when you closed the application, the RAM will not fully recover.

So n73 can easily run out of RAM ,software/game/application will auto terminate in the process.

If that happen, try to reboot the phone. So the RAM will be fully restore.

42. This really works. Thanks!

45. i am using symbian from last few months. its really nice and the bug advantage is we can use third party apps as much as we can. my N73 was pretty nice but i just change its casing (the cover) and after that its cam gives a blur effect on picture at bottom right corner. i have installed much apps in it and that's why is become slow. i want to ask is there any way that i can set an application as default opener for some file? like when i open .txt file my Mini Notepad open it. When i open my SWF my third party application open it. just like we have an open with option in Windows XP and we can set some program as default for that type of files. i am sorry if i cant give you the idea of my point. i am waiting... please send me a mail at chainhack@gmail.com about this solution. Thanks
Best Regards
